The Dolphin Company and Friends of Lolita Join Forces to Return her to Home Waters

Today, our CEO, Mr. Eduardo Albor, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine, Pritam Singh of Friends of Lolita, and renowned philanthropist Jim Irsay, held a press conference to update people on the Lolita orca initiative in our park Miami Seaquarium located in the United States.

This is a historical fact, since it is the first time that an animal welfare organization and a private company like The Dolphin Company with species in our care, create a legal agreement with a common goal, to return Lolita, the only orca in our Miami Seaquarium park, to her home waters. This shows that organizations that have different ideas can also unite for a common good: animal care and welfare.

It is estimated that the reintegration will occur in the next 18 to 24 months; meanwhile, Lolita will continue to receive the attention of our Specialists and Veterinarians 24 hours a day, to analyze medical aspects of her health such as nutrition and behavior.
