MIRACLE BREEDING PROGRAM
The Miracle Breeding Program was created from The Dolphin Company’s passion and commitment to provide the best care for the animals in our care. Our staff has been instructed in the reproductive biology and essential needs of these species during their different life stages, including pregnancy, birth and lactation.
Our Miracle program has proven highly successful for more than 15 years since its inception. The results are manifested in the birth of more than 200 calves that are now part of The Dolphin Company.
Thanks to our Miracle Breeding Program, our habitats are home to first and second generations of Dolphins and Sea Lions. Our Company is proudly committed to the preservation of these wonderful animals.
RESCUE CENTERS
Thanks to the experience we have acquired with animals in our care we are able to know them, therefore acquiring knowledge from their behavioral patterns and from the preventive medical studies we carry out.
All this information and understanding, allow us to help animals in the wild whenever they get sick or stranded. Our Veterinarians and Marine Mammal Specialists have professional procedures to help these animals and we have created specific areas within our facilities to provide specialized care.
RESCUE TEAM
MEXICO
Our Specialists in Mexico cooperate with authorities to help stranded animals all across the country. Dolphin Discovery is part of the Stranding Network (Red de Varamientos) in which different institutions share knowledge and work together towards rescuing and rehabilitating.

This specialized rehabilitation center has helped wild animals that have stranded in the Argentinian shores. Sea Lions, Orcas, Penguins and Turtles are some of the species that have had a second chance thanks to the professionals that work here.
MEDICAL CARE AND HUSBANDRY
The positive reinforcement technique that we use to communicate with animals in our care, allows Marine Mammal Specialists to teach them behaviors that help Veterinarians in their preventive medicine procedures. Every behavior is voluntary and depends solely in the bond of trust and respect that has been built among animals and Specialists.
