Dolphin Discovery Announces the 10th Edition of 10,000 Smiles, a Charity Event in Quintana Roo

Cancun, Quintana Roo, April 23, 2026.– Dolphin Discovery, a leader in educational and interactive experiences with dolphins and other marine species, and part of The Dolphin Company family, is excited to announce the 10th edition of 10,000 Smiles, a charitable event aimed at bringing the Quintana Roo community closer to the world of dolphins while collecting new toys to be donated as part of the Children’s Day celebration.

On Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 at Dolphin Discovery Isla Mujeres, and on Saturday, May 16 at Dolphin Discovery Cozumel, local visitors will be able to enjoy the Dolphin Encounter program for a special price of $399 MXN per person by donating one new toy per family (maximum four family members). This experience includes interaction with dolphins in a safe and educational environment, as well as a meal combo including a hot dog, pasta, fries, and a beverage. During their visit, guests will also be able to enjoy the park facilities and experience a day full of activities, surprises, and unforgettable moments.

All collected toys will be donated to Fundación Aitana, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of children and young people with cancer in Quintana Roo. In previous editions, 10,000 Smiles has become a high-impact solidarity movement, collecting more than 7,000 toys throughout its history and benefiting thousands of vulnerable children. The initiative has also promoted health and nutrition programs, encouraged the participation of thousands of attendees and volunteers, and provided unique marine mammal experiences to more than 5,000 children, establishing itself as an initiative that not only creates smiles, but also transforms lives and brings hope to those who need it most.
