Dolphin Discovery announces new series on social media: Behind Animal Welfare – The experts in action

Cancún, Quintana Roo on April 18th, 2024.- Dolphin Discovery, member of The Dolphin Company family, a park operator with a global presence, announced that will premiere a documentary-style series called “Behind animal welfare – The experts in action”, which will show and explain the medical care that marine mammals receive from their Veterinarians and Specialists at Dolphin Discovery.

The first episode of Behind animal welfare will premiere this Friday, April 19th, on Dolphin Discovery‘s various social media platforms and its YouTube channel. Every week, followers will be able to watch a new episode. The recordings were made with the participation of Veterinarians and Specialists from Dolphin Discovery, who will show the care they provide to the species through preventive medicine, medical training, care for females during the gestation period, conservation of the species, rehabilitation of animals, among many other important topics.

“We are very excited about the launch of Behind animal welfare. This project was born as a result of the doubts our followers and visitors have expressed about the care and training of our species. There is a lot of work and commitment from our Veterinarians and Marine Mammal Specialists that cannot be seen at first look since it involves a ‘behind the scenes’ effort. This series is preceded by ‘Interview with the Experts’ where, through talks with Specialists and Veterinarians, the audience was able to learn about the animal care, rescues and certifications that the company has, among others, and now it is time to see the action. We are sure that this series will bring people closer to a facet of Dolphin Discovery that they do not know and that it will allow them to get involved with the true experts and the first-class care that the specimens receive within our habitats” said Addy Gamboa, Deputy Director of Marketing at The Dolphin Company.

The complete chapters of the interviews will be available on the Dolphin Discovery YouTube channel, while a more summarized version of each episode can be viewed on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.
