Documentary Series: Behind Animal Welfare

We are excited to announce that this Friday, April 19, a documentary-style series called “Behind Animal Welfare – The Experts in Action” will premiere, which will show and explain the medical care that marine mammals receive in our Dolphin Discovery habitats by Veterinarians and Specialists.

The first episode of our series can be viewed on Dolphin Discovery’s YouTube channel, while a more condensed version of each episode will be published on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X, where you can find us as @dolphindiscovery.

This is a project that was born because of the doubts that our followers and visitors have expressed about the care and training of our species, so we wanted to show all the work and commitment that exists by our Veterinarians and Marine Mammal Specialists that can’t be shown to the naked eye as it is a ‘behind the scenes’ effort.

We invite you not to miss a single episode of Behind Animal Welfare so that you can learn about aspects of the care of Dolphin Discovery animals such as preventive medicine, medical training, care for females during the gestation period, species conservation, animal rehabilitation, among many other interesting and important topics.
