VenturaPark announces dates for the 2025 Canine Splash

Cancun, Quintana Roo, January 9, 2025.- VenturaPark, the only water park in Cancún and member of The Dolphin Company family, is proud to announce the monthly schedule for one of its most anticipated events, the Canine Splash. This unique event has been designed for families to enjoy a fun day with their pets in a safe and enjoyable environment, while also collecting food donations for dogs and cats in local shelters.

During one weekend each month, VenturaPark becomes a pet-friendly park. One of the pools, which has its own filtration system separate from the others, is dedicated to the fun of pets. There is also a special play area designed for them. A trained team is available to care for the animals, ensuring safety at all times and giving pet owners the opportunity to enjoy the park’s attractions as well.

VenturaPark’s Canine Splash event was a huge success in 2024, collecting over one and a half tons of dog food, which was donated to local shelters through Loving is Caring, a responsible pet ownership campaign by Dolphin Discovery that supports shelters and street animals. Some of the shelters benefiting from the donations were Adopta un Amigo, Los Perritos de Doña Mago, Cachorrilandia, Floreciendo el Mundo, and Dejando Huellas por Cancún. More than 240 dogs enjoyed an exclusive pool, healthy snacks, and special activities. Meanwhile, owners were also able to participate in interactive activities, relax in designated rest areas, and socialize with other dog lovers.

VenturaPark has announced the new dates for the 2025 Canine Splash. The upcoming events will be held on the following weekends:

Participating in the Canine Splash is simple. During the event days, attendees who donate 2 kg of pet food will be able to purchase the Ventura Fun pass at a special price of $299 MXN, which grants access to the dog-specific pool, as well as the water attractions, adventure areas, roller coaster, and carousel, along with food and drinks. Platinum and VIP passes will also be available for $499 MXN and $699 MXN respectively, with the donation of pet food. Dogs are admitted at no additional cost.
