The Dolphin Company and the Municipality of Benito Juárez Joined Efforts in Suppots of Pets

Cancun, Quintana Roo, June 21, 2023.- To Love is to Care, the responsible pet ownership campaign of The Dolphin Company, a worldwide operator of parks, and the Office of Animal Protection and Welfare of the Benito Juarez local government join efforts to support dogs and cats in Cancun through the donation of free identification tags and a sterilization campaign for more than 100 pets.

Recently, the Office of Animal Protection and Welfare announced the launching of the Municipal Registry of Domestic Pets, whose main objective is to know how many dogs and kittens are owned in the city to have control of them, prevent abuse, reduce abandonment, and therefore, reduce the number of stray animals. To contribute to this project, The Dolphin Company, through its campaign To Love is to Care, will donate 5,000 identification tags for pets.

Likewise, To Love is to Care sponsored the sterilization of more than 100 domestic and stray dogs and cats with the logistical support of the Animal Protection and Welfare Department. This action was carried out with the objective of fulfilling the last of the activities corresponding to the celebration of the fifth anniversary of this campaign that promotes responsible pet ownership.

In addition to the Municipal Registry of Domestic Pets and the sterilization campaign of more than 100 pets, To Love is to Care and the Office of Animal Protection and Welfare have worked side by side in mass vaccinations in the diverse regions of the city of Cancun, adoption campaigns, deworming and vaccination of dogs and cats. With all of the above, The Dolphin Company continues to demonstrate its commitment and concern for the community, the environment, and the species that inhabit it.
