With great pride and excitement we share that we recently reached an agreement with the Palace Entertainment company to take over the operation of Miami Seaquarium, an emblematic aquarium located in the State of Florida in the United States. This agreement is subject to certain conditions related to the respective paperwork involved in a transaction like this, which, we estimate, will be fulfilled before the end of the year; in the meantime, Miami Seaquarium will continue under the current administration.
Miami Seaquarium opened in 1955 and has evolved into a center for wildlife conservation, committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration of marine animals. The park has environmental protection and marine science programs, which is why it is considered an educational center that provides valuable information to the millions of visitors it has received throughout its history.
We are excited to welcome the collaborators, marine fauna and visitors of Miami Seaquarium who join our great family made up of 32 parks, habitats and marinas located around the world in Mexico, the United States, the Caribbean Islands, Argentina and Italy.
We thank Palace Entertainment for the confidence in our commitment to the preservation and protection of the environment and the species that inhabit it. We are sure that we are the ones to take care of this wonderful marine park, we will always make sure that all species receive the best care and attention from the Specialists and Veterinarians.
