Miami Lighthouse students visit Miami Seaquarium

We are very happy because the students of the Miami Lighthouse summer program, a school for the blind and visually impaired, experienced an encounter with dolphins, sea lions, bamboo sharks and birds in our multi-experience park Miami Seaquarium.

During the tour, the students had the opportunity to live a multi-sensory experience through their other senses, especially touch with the support of our marine mammal specialists and veterinarians, who provided them with valuable information about local and foreign wildlife.

There were fifteen lucky students who participated in the tour that included feeding, playing and petting the animals with the aim of educating them about the importance of caring for marine species.
