Marineland Obtained the American Humane Certified Seal

We are very proud to announce that our Marineland habitat located in St. Augustine, United States has received the American Humane Certified seal due to the excellent care and welfare provided to the species in its care.

For more than 100 years, American Humane has evaluated various areas of animal welfare, among which are: excellent health and environment, positive social interactions within groups of animals, interactions with their specialists and veterinarians, safe and stimulating environments including adequate lighting, sound levels, air quality, among others.

At Marineland, we are delighted to embark on the responsibility and honor of earning the American Humane Certified seal. The care and well-being of our beloved dolphins in our care is our number one priority. The certification is the result of the dedication of our specialists, educators, veterinarians, support team and our General Manager.

The American Humane seal joins the other international accreditations that Marineland Dolphin Adventure has, such as the one provided by the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums (AMMPA), which confirms that it exceeds animal welfare standards, and the one granted by the International Association of Marine Animal Trainers (IMATA) which recognizes them for the positive reinforcement techniques they use when communicating with the species in their care.
