International Coastal Cleanup Day

Today, our Gulf World park located in Florida, United States, participated in the International Coastal Cleanup Day with volunteers who came to Bay County to help keep the beaches clean of trash and raise awareness about the waste that is they leave on the shores.

Gulf World, in conjunction with organizations such as Keep PCB Beautiful, Merritt Brothers Presentation, and Scout Pack 317 organized and participated in the cleanup that took place at three different locations on Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach.

Through these actions, Gulf World hopes to inspire other businesses and individuals to care about the environment around them, whether it’s going to beach clean-ups or not littering during their visits. It is important for people to understand that negative actions like dumping trash are bad for people, animals and the planet in general.
