Cancún, Quintana Roo, April 29, 2019.- Dolphin Group announced today at a press conference the seventh edition of its social program 10,000 smiles, which will be held on May 4 at the facilities of all its parks and habitats around the world and will have as a beneficiary different foundations that surround the places where it has presence.
Guadalupe Jiménez, Director of Human Value of the Dolphin Group and patron of the Dolphin Discovery Foundation I.A.P. was accompanied on the presidium table by María Elena Ortegón, President of the Civil Association Huellas de Pan, Ma. Fernanda Guajardo, Operational Director of AMANC Quintana Roo, Yusi Dzib, President and Founder of Fundación Aitana A.C. and Rosalinda López, Manager of the Dolphin Discovery Foundation I.A.P. She commented that the event has two main objectives: to provide the opportunity for people to live an unforgettable experience to celebrate Children’s Day at a preferential price and raise funds to support civil society organizations to fulfill their mission.
Guadalupe Jiménez also commented: “We are very excited for this edition, as a Socially Responsible Company for more than 14 years, Grupo Dolphin is proud to carry out actions in favor of the communities that need it most, in this case, supporting various projects in the fields of health, education, housing and the environment “.
The goal in Mexico is to reach $ 1,400,000.00 pesos, while the goal abroad is to reach $ 55,000 USD, quantities with which Fundación Dolphin Discovery I.A.P. helps the foundations, benefiting children and adolescents in vulnerable situations.
It is important to mention that 10,000 Smiles, in its previous editions, has been recognized by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility in Mexico (AliaRSE) as a company with “Best practices in the field of bonding with the community.”
Interactive swims that take place in the habitats of Mexico in the morning schedule will be sold on a regular basis via travel agencies, website or direct purchase. While the interactive swims that take place after 12:00 hrs will have a special price; from May 1 to the day of the event (May 4), the cost will be $ 300 pesos for boys and girls and $ 350 pesos for adults.
