On July 20th and 21st of 2019, within the framework of World Dog Day, the Amar es Cuidar responsible ownership campaign celebrated its second anniversary with an artistic activation at Marina Puerto Cancun and with a pet friendly Mega Bazaar at the Dolphin Center facilities.
The event where the mural ‘Leaving Footprint’ was inaugurated in Marina Puerto Cancun was attended by around 100 people with their pets, who immortalized their hands and paws, respectively, in order to make people aware of the responsible ownership of pets.
On the other hand, the Pet Friendly Mega Bazaar was attended by more than 200 people who had the opportunity to find products and services for pets such as: tags, clothing, accessories, medicines, among many others. At the same time they helped by contributing funds for sterilizations and support with food for the dogs and cats that live in shelters. In total, the event managed to collect 610 kg of croquettes that were delivered to associations and shelters that Amar es Cuidar supports during the year.
