Dolphin Discovery Invite Boys and Girls to Become Ocean’s Ambassador

Cancun, Quintana Roo on August 16th, 2023.- Dolphin Discovery, a brand of habitats for interaction with marine mammals of The Dolphin Company family, park operator with a global presence, launched a campaign on social media through which they invite boys and girls to become Ocean’s Ambassadors who care, love and respect animals and their environment.

The Ocean’s Ambassadors campaign was launched a few weeks ago on Dolphin Discovery‘s social media, through its Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok @DolphinDiscovery pages. Seven girls are already part of this campaign as opinion leaders who share, through their experience, how Dolphin Discovery cares for species within their habitats and the environment, while transmitting the passion and commitment of the brand. Every 15 days a video of one or more ambassadors is shared, providing valuable information about dolphins and their care, and the week in between an infographic is shared containing detailed data on the subject. Now, they seek to expand the reach of the campaign by involving the community through three different channels: social media, schools, and associations or foundations.

To participate through social media and become an Ocean Ambassador, the boys and girls must draw a picture of their favorite marine mammal, enter the Facebook page @DolphinDiscovery, search for the contest post and place in the comments the photo of the child with his drawing and comment on how he / she takes care of the ocean. The winner will be determined by the number of likes on the photos and will be announced on Friday, September 1st. The winning boy or girl will have the opportunity to visit one of the Dolphin Discovery habitats in the Mexican Republic and participate in a video that will be shared on social media and several media channels.

The terms and conditions of the contest are as follows:

  • Be between 8 and 15 years old
  • Live in a State of the Mexican Republic where there is a Dolphin Discovery habitat
  • Be accompanied by an adult
  • Does not include land transportation

“This contest excites us a lot, we firmly believe that children and adolescents are the future of our planet, so it is very important for us to raise awareness among them about the care that animals and the environment require. We are sure that living this experience will make them learn about the species, which will make them take care of them and inspire others to do the same”, said Addy Gamboa, Deputy Director of Marketing.

Over the next few weeks, Dolphin Discovery will extend the contest to primary school and high school, as well as associations and foundations of children and adolescents with disabilities who wish to become Ocean’s Ambassadors, giving them the opportunity to meet a marine mammal in person, learn from it and spread a message of conservation of both the species and the environment in which it develops.
