Dolphin Discovery Cozumel Honors Corn

Last Friday, the Foundation of Parks and Museums of Cozumel (FPMC, for its acronym in spanish) inaugurated in the museum of the island the photographic exhibition “La Trenza”, by the artist Malena Díaz, who brought corn from Tlaxcala to Cozumel and delivered to various restaurants and companies participants to prepare a delicious dish with this grain.

Dolphin Discovery Cozumel was fortunate to participate with the preparation of various delicious dishes such as marbled pancake, ice cream, wafer and eggnog, all based on various types of corn. The tasting of the dish in our facilities was attended by the Municipal President, Juanita Alonso Marrufo, and the General Director of the FPMC, Mr. José Luis Chacón Méndez, who highlighted the importance of holding this type of event to spread the culture of other States and in turn stimulate tourism on the island.

Corn, better known as “Mexican gold” is a versatile and nutrient-rich product. We are very proud to have participated in this exhibition that honors and commemorates not only our Mexican origin, but also the woman who is capable of giving life, all this through the culinary talent of our chef Elmer Pascual Peña and his team, who proudly represent the name of Dolphin Discovery Cozumel.
