Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo, January 21, 2019.- Yesterday the 11th edition of the Puerto Aventuras Race took place, a race with a cause that Dolphin Discovery, the residents of Puerto Aventuras and Fundación Dolphin Discovery I.A.P. carry out year after year. Besides promoting family time through sports, the main objectives were to raise funds for the community center called Transformar Educando A.C., as well as collecting grains for Fundación Cáritas de Quintana Roo. In the event, there were more than 700 runners from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Tulum, Isla Mujeres, and Puerto Aventuras.

In this edition it was possible to collect a total of $141,000 pesos donation for educational projects in the community center Transformar Educando A.C. Also, 124 kg of grains were collected and $1, 710 pesos for Fundación Cáritas de Quintana Roo A.C., contributing to improve the nutritional levels of the benefited people.
During the event, we were pleased to have Laura Beristain, president of the Municipality of Solidaridad, and also celebrities such as Ramón Morales, ex-football player of the Chivas team and the Mexican Soccer Team, Isaac Aquino, winner of the National Youth Award, Carmen Goett, Finalist of La Voz México and lastly, Marcos Velázquez, blind athlete.
Throughout the race, different activities were carried out like roulette that allowed the contestants to win swims with dolphins, romantic dinners, and entries to Garrafon Park, etc. There was lottery games, stands that sold t-shirts with a cause, nameplates for pets by the To Love is to Care Campaign, among other things.

Also, there was the raffle for the trip to Puerto Vallarta for two with accommodation, flight, and a Swim with dolphins in Dolphin Discovery Puerto Vallarta. The winner was a member of the “Jaguars” team of runners. Plus, different prices were raffled and granted by the sponsors with a value of more than $500,000 pesos.
