Eduardo Albor
In 1994, he joined the Dolphin Discovery group, known today as The Dolphin Company. In 1999, he became a partner and CEO of the group. With constant and strategic work, he took the Company from a regional player with three parks in Mexico to its current status: the largest park operator in Latin America and the #1 swim with Dolphins company in the world, with a presence in eight countries, including the United States, Argentina, Italy, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
With his visionary talent and rooted values, Mr. Albor consolidated a Company based on commercial results, social responsibility, and educational and environmental awareness. He is responsible for maintaining a successful financial, operational, and commercial structure within and outside The Dolphin Company. His vision and the company’s core values are to continue growing and evolving within the leisure industry sector.
In addition, Eduardo is chairman of the board of the Dolphin Discovery Foundation and President of the editorial Group Latitude 21.
Valeria Albor
In the Treasury Department, Valeria created a direct and professional network with our offshore bank executive allies through site visits and meetings in the Caribbean and Italy. She then consolidated the offshore treasury operations to the headquarters in Cancun. In 2017, she became Manager of the Financial Planning department, working directly with the CFO.
On March 21, 2022, she was promoted to Chief Corporate Office, overseeing diverse Sales, Marketing TI, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations projects.
Valeria is a shareholder and member of the board at The Dolphin Company and a member of the Board at Dolphin Cove.
Sergio Jacome
He earned a master’s in Business Administration and Finance and a bachelor’s in Accounting.
Sergio has been fully involved in eight acquisitions, refinancing the company’s debt, and all the critical transformation processes during the last seven years. Sergio is the head of the Financial Committee and a member of the Director’s Committee, Executive Committee, and Audit Committee. He is also a Director of the Board of Dolphin Cove Limited in Jamaica and a member of the Audit Committee of Dolphin Cove Jamaica.
Rodrigo Ceballos
Rodrigo obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Management Skills diploma.
He is now the Icarus Commercial Director, responsible for all Marketing and Sales of the Icarus parks, which include five parks in Mexico. He also leads corporate relationships and agreements involving other destinations and group brands with key clients.
Concepcion Esteban
She has a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Law and a master’s Degree in Corporate Law. She has two specializations: Commercial Law and Property Valuation, as well as finance and commercial courses.
Concepcion’s primary responsibilities are to guide the company in the legal aspect and compliance of the laws, to plan and to carry out the necessary procedures to comply with the legal regulations and specific facts (incorporation of companies, conglomerates, settlements, law adaptations, etc.), to monitor the court and out of court processes, to review and authorize the legal contracts and employment cases, etc. Concepcion also provides legal counseling to the Board of Directors of the Company.
Martin Flores
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in finances.
Martin has created and implemented critical additional internal controls to the company’s accounting system. Today, he is responsible for all the accounting areas within the financial administration.
Lorenzo Camara
Lorenzo has a degree in Industrial Engineering. During his 28-year career at The Dolphin Company, he was appointed as the Caribbean Executive Operations Director, responsible for Aquatours Marina and Icarus Executive Operations Director.
Today, he is The Dolphin Company’s Chief Engineering and Maintenance Officer. Based on his extensive experience, his primary focus is to control all critical matters associated with maintenance and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Edgar Urbina
With 38 years of experience, Edgar Urbina has collaborated in the opening of new Dolphin Company parks in South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, the USA, and Italy, carrying out projects and implementing the “Dolphin Way” in 21 tourist destinations.
The world-class animal care provided by Edgar’s team of Marine Mammal Specialists has been reflected in the certifications by national and international associations. The accreditations ensure our commitment to excellence in animal care and education.
Guillermo Sanchez
He has a degree in Veterinary Medicine and a Masters in medicine and surgery of exotic animals.
Guillermo focuses on Dolphin welfare, neonatology, and toxicology. He believes combining education, research, and conservation in his daily work is essential.
He is currently the President of the European Association for Aquatic Mammals (EAAM). He has published research on behavior, physiology, immunology, malformations, surgery, and different aspects of neoplastic, parasitic, viral, and bacterial diseases affecting pinnipeds and bottlenose dolphins in the wild and professional care.
Dagoberto Hernandez
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting and graduated from a Senior Executive Management program.
At The Dolphin Company, he spearheaded the development and execution of a pivotal technology master plan, including the deployment of advanced system platforms for reservations, contact center, communications, collaboration, and substantial enhancements to ERP systems, point of sale, and the digital photo/video platform “Dolphin Memories”, among others. In his role, Dagoberto has been instrumental in strengthening The Dolphin Company’s technological environment by providing resilience, adaptability, and security, while consistently achieving remarkable cost savings year over year.
Alfonso Delgado
Alfonso Delgado received a Doctor of Veterinary degree. He has more than 30 years of experience in medicine and management of wild animals.
He is currently the company’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the operation of all parks in eight countries and two continents, from maintenance to financial analysis and new projects.
He is an active member of the International Association of Attractions and Amusement Parks (IAAPA) and has an alternative place to participate in the board of directors of Latin America.
Alejandro Mata
He has a Marine Biology degree and an animal training background from different companies in Europe and Mexico.
Alejandro is currently the Regional Director of Italy, thus responsible for Zoomarine, Aquafelix, and Acquajoss, our three themed and aquatic parks in Italy. He has led several projects, including developing new attractions, five new zoological areas, and staff coordination.
Federico Lozano
He graduated with a bachelor’s in Hospitality Management and has over 26 years of experience in this field, emphasizing Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Administration.
He is now the Regional Director of the Caribbean, responsible for three brands and eight parks in four countries: St. Kitts, the Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica.
He is also certified in Health and Safety Awareness in Tourism Accommodation and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (CIEH HACCP).
Edwin Gonzalez
He earned a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. His experience includes 25 years in multinational organizations.
Mr. Gonzalez is currently the Regional Director for the USA parks, which comprise four brands targeted to diverse markets. USA parks include Dolphin Connection in Duck Key, Florida; Miami Seaquarium in Miami Key Biscayne, Florida; Gulf World in Panama City Beach, Florida; and Marineland in St. Augustine, Florida.
Franco Martinez
He has 25 years of experience in managing amusement parks, leading large teams, and developing managers and directors across various departments. He has extensive knowledge in creating new products and experiences within various parks, which have significantly enhanced guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
In 2024, he was promoted to Regional Director for Mexico. Franco is currently responsible for all Dolphin Habitats, water parks, nature parks, adventure parks, and theme parks in the country and is successfully accountable for the operation of more than ten parks and seven brands.
Freddie Gomez
Freddie has a degree in Graphic Design and Marketing.
Mr. Aguilar’s leadership has ensured operational excellence within the cruise organization, aligning sales and operations teams to meet business objectives. His efforts have maintained The Dolphin Company’s position as a critical partner for cruise lines, contributing to its sustained growth in this segment. Through strategic agreements and strong relationships with decision‐makers, the company achieved historical figures in revenue and participation across operating locations with our cruise line partners.
Ariel Castro
He has a career in Graphic Design and more than 20 years of experience in the world of digital marketing, specifically strategic planning and developing e‐commerce and omnichannel projects.
As of 2023, he is the E-commerce Deputy Director, responsible for international digital marketing and e‐commerce strategy for all parks and Habitats of the Company. He is also in charge of affiliate platforms, call centers, digital reputation, SEO, SEM, CRM, marketing automation, Inbound Marketing, lead generation programs, and web analytics.
Addy Gamboa
She has a Marketing Degree and a specialty in Business Innovation.
She is responsible for the Marketing, Public Relations, and Social Media departments. She guarantees the welfare of 23 brands in eight countries among audiences, clients, staff, shareholders, and stakeholders, building the experience and engagement that all of them will have with the brands.
Addy is an active member of the Communications Committee at the Association of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums (AMMPA) and the Public Relations Subcommittee at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
