21 Years of Social Responsability: The Dolphin Company receives the 2026 ESR Distinction

Cancun, Quintana Roo, March 5, 2026 .— The Dolphin Company, a leader in nature experiences, marine conservation, and responsible adventure, has been recognized for the twenty-first consecutive year with the Socially Responsible Company Distinction (ESR), reaffirming its ongoing commitment to sustainability and ethical business management.

Granted by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy, A.C. (Cemefi), this recognition evaluates organizations under ESG criteria (Environmental, Social, and Governance), measuring their impact and responsible management through a total of 87 indicators aligned with national and international standards. Notably, in Quintana Roo, only 12 large companies received this distinction, highlighting the significance of the recognition for the organization.

The Dolphin Company has participated in this process uninterruptedly since 2004, strengthening the maturity of its social responsibility practices year after year. The evaluation model considers both the company’s track record and its size, and analyzes aspects such as environmental impact measurement, sustainable use of resources, occupational health and safety, customer and consumer care, education and awareness, community engagement, social investment programs, volunteerism, and comprehensive social responsibility management.

As part of its social responsibility practices, the company runs programs such as “Dolphins Saving Oceans,” which includes beach and mangrove cleanups; “Loving is Educating,” where environmental education experts provide free talks to children at their schools; and “Loving is Caring,” a program promoting responsible pet ownership and supporting stray dogs and cats. The company also carries out corporate volunteer programs and dream-fulfillment initiatives for people in vulnerable situations from various foundations. In addition, throughout the year it collaborates with committees made up of different stakeholders in society to strengthen its community impact strategies, such as the Aliarse for Northern Quintana Roo Committee and the Sustainability Committee of the AHCIMPM (Cancún, Puerto Morelos and Isla Mujeres Hotel Association), promoting joint actions in the communities where it operates.

Receiving the ESR Distinction for 21 consecutive years confirms that we are on the right path. Behind this recognition are solid, measurable practices and, above all, the constant work of our teams at every habitat, park, and corporate office. It fills us with pride, but it also reminds us of the responsibility we have to continue improving every day and to maintain a positive impact on the environment and the communities where we operate,” said Dulce Marchan, Human Value Manager at The Dolphin Company.

With this new recognition, The Dolphin Company consolidates its leadership as a socially responsible company within the parks and interactive experiences industry, reaffirming its vision of sustainable growth and the creation of shared value for associates, strategic partners, visitors, and society as a whole.
