Dolphin Discovery reaffirms its commitment to manatee conservation in Quintana Roo

At Dolphin Discovery, we proudly celebrated the International Manatee Day for the ninth consecutive year with a series of educational and recreational activities that promoted environmental awareness across Quintana Roo. The celebrations concluded with a heartwarming closing event at the Teatro de la Ciudad, where more than 250 attendees, including students, teachers, families, and partners, enjoyed conferences, workshops, a theatrical performance, live music, and interactive games focused on protecting manatees and their habitat. The event also featured the participation of the Quintana Roo Police Orchestra, as well as collaborations with organizations such as Centinelas del Agua, Aguakan, and Tlacuatitlán, who shared educational activities and messages about preserving aquatic ecosystems.

We are proud to have brought together over 1,900 participants across all our activities held in Quintana Roo’s habitats and public spaces. Through these initiatives, we reaffirm our commitment to environmental education, marine life protection, and the promotion of a culture of respect for the ecosystems of the Mexican Caribbean — inspiring new generations to care for and value this remarkable species.
