Cancun, Quintana Roo, October 10, 2024 – Today, Venturapark announced the second edition of Swim & Scream, the only Halloween event in the Mexican Caribbean. Visitors will be able to enjoy this event over three weekends, starting Saturday, October 19, and ending Sunday, November 3.
Swim & Scream will feature a haunted house, similar to last year’s edition but this time, the theme will be different, and visitors daring enough to enter will navigate a cemetery, confronting their deepest fears. Additionally, they will find various decorations throughout the park, and spooky characters will be on hand to frighten guests during their visit. This year’s highlight of the horror festival is an attraction called The Labyrinth of Evil. This maze will be located in an open area, and both children and adults will be able to enjoy it. Kids will have fun finding their way out, while at announced times, teens and adults can venture into the hay bales, being chased by eerie characters while trying to escape.
Guests attending the event will be able to explore the five worlds of Venturapark, enjoying the wave pool, slides, lazy river, roller coaster, go-karts, and carousel, among other attractions. Admission to the park starts at $499.00 MXN per person for locals and includes the decorations and maze. Those who purchase any of the park entry packages can access the haunted house for an additional cost of $99.00 MXN per person. “In our second edition of Swim & Scream, our visitors will experience new thrills. The combination of water, adventure, and horror will make Venturapark an unmissable experience this season, for both the little ones and the bold and daring,” commented Franco Martínez, Operations Director of Mexico for The Dolphin Company.
Swim & Scream will take place on October 19, 20, 26, 27, and 31 and on November 1, 2, and 3. It will be a unique event in the destination that will leave a mark on local visitors, who will want to return each year for a new edition of the event. Additionally, Swim & Scream will enhance the activity offerings available to both national and international visitors at this tourist hub.
