Dolphin Discovery Isla Mujeres and Cozumel accredited by AZA

We are proud to announce that our Dolphin Discovery brand habitats on Isla Mujeres and Cozumel have been reaccredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) for having the highest standards of animal care.

To be accredited by the AZA, our habitats had to undergo thorough inspection visits that evaluated aspects such as the physical and psychological well-being of the animals, their health program, the size of the areas assigned to them, the habitat conservation and education program, among many others.

In addition to having the highest standards in the care and well-being of our animals, this accreditation ensures that we provide a fun, safe and educational family experience. Likewise, it indicates that the conservation of species and education play an important role in our activities, this can be seen in our efforts to preserve the Manatee, an endangered species, and in our environmental education program Loving is Educating, which has managed to raise awareness among thousands of boys, girls, young people and adults about the importance of caring for animals and their environment.

We are sure that this accreditation is a reflection of our commitment to our specimens by providing them with the best medical care, the best food, outstanding enrichment programs, adequate facilities, among many other aspects necessary for their complete well-being, and with our guests by offering fun and educational activities that turn them into ambassadors of the oceans.
