We are very happy to announce that our Veterinary Medicine Advisor, the MVZ. Roberto Sánchez Okrucky received the 2023 Amy Camacho Wildlife Conservation Award, during the annual congress of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums of Mexico A.C. (AZCARM), thanks to his great career in the care and conservation of various animals.
During the annual meeting of AZCARM, which took place in recent days in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Dr. Roberto was recognized, he has been part of our family for more than 25 years and has contributed to the well-being of the species in our care and has participated in the rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration of various species of terrestrial and marine animals.
It fills us with satisfaction that Dr. Sánchez Okrucky has been awarded this important award, which, without a doubt, he deserves and which denotes his passion for animals. Roberto is a person full of knowledge and vast experience, who has contributed to the well-being of many animals under human care and in the wild. We are proud that he is part of our family and, above all, very grateful to him for taking care of our species for so long. Congratulations Dr. Roberto!
