Gulf World Marine Institute Rescued four sea turtles

Gulf World Marine Institute (GWMI) will reintegrate four sea turtles into the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday, July 26 at 8 am on the beach in front of the Carousel supermarket in 19440 Front Beach Road, the names of the turtles that will be reintegrated are Rem, Colin, Francesca and Queen Charlotte, who were rescued weeks ago to be attended by the team of specialists and veterinarians.

Accidentally the four turtles were caught in local fishing that was taking place at the pier, luckily the fishermen contacted the dock management teams of Russell-Fields City Pier, M.B Miller County Pier, PCB Beach Rescue Lifeguards, PCB Beach Police officers and Panama City Beach Turtle Watch moved them to the GWMI facility to receive necessary medical care and relevant studies.

Fortunately the four turtles were rehabilitated and have been authorized for reintegration by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, who also invite them to be part of this event.
