Zoomarine Holds the First Aid Curse for Stranded or at Risk of Stranding Dolphins

Next September 7th and 21st, the first aid course for stranded or stranded Dolphins will take place in the facilities of our Zoomarine park in Italy, in order to protect these beautiful animals, which are in constant threat.

Our team of Marine Mammal Specialists and Veterinarians, with the sponsorship of the Association of Italian Veterinary Doctors (Anmvi) and the collaboration of the Italian Veterinary Society for Exotic Animals-Scientific Association of Anmvi (Sivae), will offer this training to the personnel of the Nautical River Squadron of Rome.

It is a practical and theoretical training day based on a series of measures aimed at the first and immediate care of the animal in case of stranding, the protection of the rescuers themselves, and the swimmers often present during the emergency.

Zoomarine is developing this initiative for the first time, based on its mission which includes actions and projects aimed at public awareness and education to safeguard endangered species.
