The Amusement Park has created videos, available for free online, to tell children and young people about the animal world.
With the Decree of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the closure of schools was extended until April 3. Tens of thousands of children and young people locked in the house, between boredom and the PC screen. To brighten his days in a fun but educational way, Zoomarine has decided to produce videos in which he tells about the animals that are guests of the park. The videos are available for free online.
The amusement park, one of the largest in Italy, is home to around 400 animals of more than 30 different species. Of these, about 50 arrived in the first months of 2020, between births and new animals welcomed into this large family, bringing joy to a year that does not seem to start in the best way.
“We know that this forced quarantine is even more difficult for young people. – commented Renato Lenzi, CEO of Zoomarine. – We take them out of the world precisely at that age when they begin to know and explore it. In this delicate moment, Zoomarine wants to be a window to the world, or at least to the animal world, bringing children and young people closer to the discovery of dolphins, penguins, pinnipeds, tropical birds and much more ”.
Among the videos made and available on the Zoomarine YouTube channel, that of the bay of the pinnipeds, with Mattia, one of the Park’s coaches and one of the sea lions, and that of the dolphin stadium, in the company of Francesca, also Zoomarine and the dolphin Lea.
In the videos, the trainers, in addition to showing these wonderful specimens, explain what their work consists of, and the “typical day” of each animal.
