It started in 1938 as a recording studio and became a habitat for interaction due to people&#8217;s interest in learning more about the relationship between humans and marine life.<\/p>\n<p>In Marineland several films of international scope were recorded and with the passage of time important discoveries were made regarding the training of dolphins and echolocation. It has achieved various advances in the reproduction and conservation of dolphins, such as the birth of \u00abSpray\u00bb, the first bottlenose dolphin born under human care, or the birth of Nellie, who reached 61 years of age thanks to the care provided by its specialists and veterinarians, being considered the longest-lived dolphin under human care.<\/p>\n<p>Marineland is a place of history, an agent of change in the perspective of marine life and a reference for all generations who have had the opportunity to see marine mammals up close and learn about the care they need.
